The Leaves lost 7-1 then rebounded to win 8-1 last night.

Blowouts early in the season are not uncommon, I recall both SJ
and Nashville getting blown out at home early last season.

A couple of good efforts against the Oilers should put the team
right back on track.

I don't have blind faith, but I do believe V & the players have enough common
sense to increase the speed, intensity & puck pressure as soon as the puck
drops. If they keep playing a passive shell collapse, based on a conservative
1-2-2, the Oilers will probably beat them, and other more superior teams
*certainly* will.

It's time for Naslund & Cooke to lead the way and play with effective passion
& grit. Nazzy is the so called captain, and the Cooker is the so called grinder.
Both are vets, so the leadership and initiative must show itself, otherwise,
the 2 are overpayed duds.

Most definitely, the whole team looks very tentative.

I think that is true regardless.
