Post subject: Sabres fall further back
Archived from groups: alt>sports>hockey>nhl>buffalo-sabres (more info?)

The Sabres are now tied for 3rd overall and are only 3 points ahead
of the NJD.

The beginning of the Sabre collapsed occurred, not coincidently,
with the trading of Martin Biron. You heard it here first, and you
can be sure you'll hear it here last.

The Sabres are simply too small to stand up over the long run. And
their goaltending is suspect as stated earlier.

Look for the Leafs, with the addition of Peca, to sweep the Sabres
(Penknives?) out in the first round.

cordially, as always,

rm
