And anyone watching the game? - I was on the phone... I looked up and the puck was in the back of TB's net... We didn't get the goal and we got a I saw the goal...

Tonights Game - Hard to believe that the 5-2 score a better game by the Flyers but it's true. Some good efforts by Richards - yet again-, Carter, Lupel and Hartnell. The bad news is it was yet again another slow start with the Flyers always seeming to be..

Great game tonight - Finally got to see one. Tuesday is my only light evening, and I could go to the communal TV room and turn on Versus. My two favorite things: Biron was in the first period. I feel like I've spent years watch Esche..

The Flyers played a game in 1976 that I've read about, have seen
pictures for, but never actually watched the game.

It was Game 5 of the '76 Stanley Cup Finals against Boston. Reggie
Leach scored 5 goals that night at the Spectrum, and the Flyers won 6-3
to advance to the finals.

Unfortunately, it's not one of the games in the 10 greatest games boxed set.

Does anyone know if there's any way to get that game on tape? There are
several games from the 75 and 76 playoffs that I'd love to see, but that
one is at the top of the list.

I heard one that Comcast replayed the game a few years ago, but I missed it.

Thanks,
Kevin

So if it was the 76 Stanley Cup finals what finals would they advanced to?

Sorry, I meant Game 5 of the Semi-finals. They beat Boston that night
to advance to the finals (and got swept by Montreal). I'd give almost
anything to watch the game.

It's ashame the Flyers went into the playoffs in '76 missing Parent, who
at the time was clearly one of the greatest goalies ever; and the two
time defending Conn Smythe winner. And also Rick MacLiesh, who led the
Flyers in playoff scoring during both of the previous two years.
