Article over at SI say Craig Patrick is looking for work, with the
Sharks not having a coach, this would the time to change Gm's. Other
than when ownership was selling off players, Patrick has always had
good teams. The current Pens were pretty much put together by
Patrick. Of course he did have the good fortune to get Crosby and
Lemieux, but he also surrounded them with talent. I'd fire DW and hire
Patrick in a second.

Interesting idea, but I doubt any current Shark, with the possible
exception of Marleau, would agree with you.

No, I don't think he's the type of GM that we need to produce a Detroit
style of hockey. When he played here for the Seals he was pretty much
of a pacifist.

I might, but it doesn't seem like we have a strong ownership group
here. DW seems to be running the show, which isn't a bad thing. We
could be doing a lot worse than that.
