spoilers...
i just didn't find myself caring about any of the characters... the asian
gang members were so horribly portrayed it was stupid. i found the acting
from eastwood down sub par. i'm a eastwood fan and really enjoy most of his
work, old and new but this movie just never grabbed me. i felt like telling
eastwood's character to go jump off a bridge if he's so mad at the world and
i know they meant for his family to be self centered pricks but why would
they care about a bitter old man like eastwood's character was anyways? i
guess it just didn't hit a nerve with me. waste of time in my opinion but i
see the story they were trying to tell. can't really complain tho, i
downloaded it for free :) >> Stay informed about: I found Gran Torino on the ground..... |

I avoided it because of the title and the little I knew of what it
was aboot. I was never a wrestlin' fan. But since you mentioned
it here, I went and checked the reviews. All excellent, so thanks,
I'll keep my eyes on where I'm walking and pick it up.

Rourke is fantastic in this movie and it should resurrect his career.
I think it's going to come down to him and Eastwood for the Oscar.

I think Sin City resurrected his career, but this one will solidify his
return. >> Stay informed about: I found Gran Torino on the ground..... |
