It's okay to hold Yelle's stick for 15 seconds late in the third period
without a penalty (in the offensive zone)
It's quite alright to hogtie and tackle Tanguay late in the third period (in
the offensive zone) leading almost directly to the tying goal.
But you better make a bullshit call in overtime to give a bunch of losers
ANOTHER powerplay chance.

I didn't see this particular game, but the reffing in the games I have seen
has been horrible, and horribly inconsistent. It's almost as though they
flipped a switch just before the all-star break. It seems as though more
obvious infractions are being allowed to slide and the most borderline of
calls are being made. I think the players are in that mode of not knowing
what is and isn't going to be called again.
