Full year together??? You forgetting the master shuffler is still coaching
this bunch??? >> Stay informed about: Michalek extension |

Glad my dinner hasn't been forgotten. I've been perusing the
menus. :-)
General observation:
Other than Cheechoo, who gives Ricci-like performances, and Thornton,
of course, I haven't seen a single Sharks forward that I'd get all
nervous and sweaty about and have sleepless nights about losing. In
fact, if teams wante dto overpay for a couple guys and give us six
picks, I might be thrilled.
One of the Sharks' problems on offense, aside from the perpetual
wekness at the points, is that they don't have a single player, who,
IMHO, is a threat one-on-one. There are just times when you need to
buy a goal, and have somebody who can deliver it, not just rely only
on scoring if five guys are playing perfectly. That's why the Sharks
appear so neutered every time the forwards, as a whole, get out of
sync. There's just nobody who can deliver the goods by himself.
Keep in mind, this is a team that has melted down similarly in three
playoff appearances, so either staffing or coaching, or both, needs
something. I'm not too excited by contemplating the status quo. >> Stay informed about: Michalek extension |

Last season's failed prediction on Cheechoo's productivity apparently
hasn't shamed you back into reality. Even with all of Joe's help, a guy
who isn't a good skater or puckhandler is going to have trouble scoring
that many goals in a season. I think there's very little chance he'll
ever clear 50 goals again and if he does, you can bet Thornton will win
the MVP that year too.

Hell, I'd make the reservations if I were you.

You wouldn't count Thornton in that category? Other than that, yeah.

They'll keep melting down until they get more guys with some mental
toughness and a coach who doesn't pass the buck.

No, Joe isn't a guy who can undress guys and put it in the net. He's
a fabulous playmaker, but not Mr. One-On-One. >> Stay informed about: Michalek extension |

Coming back once again to Mr Michalek, the only player who could
undress opponents one on one. Could, as in potentially in the future. >> Stay informed about: Michalek extension |
