"The Leafs should make the playoffs in a weaker Eastern Conference. I
figure the Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, New
Jersey Devils, Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes are sure things.
That leaves Toronto, the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning,
Montreal Canadiens, maybe the New York Islanders and maybe the
Washington Capitals fighting for the final two spots .."

around here is smothering. Its annoying.

Byron Bitz Impressions - I was very fortunate in that I was able to attend several Cornell home games the last two years. I was aware that Byron Bitz was a Bruins draft choice, so I did pay keen attention to him. I can describe my impression of him as the second coming of..

Brad Stuart - I read that the B's lose the 4th Round Pick they got for Jurcina from Washington because Stuart didn't re-sign with the Flames. So, we got nothing for Jurcina. Oh well, at least Stuart didn't get the big money he had hoped for, he really mailed it in las...

Jurcina/Boyes - lots of comments about these guys getting traded... Jurcina was +/- Bos -5 vs. Wash +5 Pts Bos 40 games 3 points vs. Wash 30 games 9 points Minutes per game Bos 10.42 Wash 23/24 mins per game Boyes....not too many games with St. Louis but was + 1 an...
