Sorry, but it still would have been 4-3. Remember the Pominville goal
where he burned 2 Isles defenders *and* the amazing Rick DiPietro? Unless
you want to say that the disallowed goal sapped all the life out of them,
in which case they *still* deserved to lose.

You can't project forward from that point. If that goal counts, they
might have three guys back instead of two, or might have more defensive
D-men on the ice instead of their two offensive D-men, or the play
might've just flowed differently from the faceoff, which would've been
in a different zone. You play a 3-3 game where you have emotional
momentum going into OT a lot differently from a 3-2 game where you need
to score to survive.
