Are you sure you were watching the same game the other night? Detroit
absolutely destroyed them, physically and on the scoreboard. It
wasn't even a match. Iginla got zero shots, and numerous Calgary
players got flattened.
This series won't go more than five games, if that. This is not your
"daddy's Detroit team," anymore. >> Stay informed about: Thank the good Lord above |

Let's just see what the Wings feel like on the flight home to Detroit. >> Stay informed about: Thank the good Lord above |

Calgary's still hanging around, jyst barely after today's thrashing.
No matter who wins this series, it's hardly a case of Calgary beating
up Detroit and the Wings trying to survive on skill. The Wings are
much more skillful, for sure, and Bertuzzi was a nice addition for the
rough stuff (ask Dion Phaneuf). Whether it goes six or seven, I still
see Detroit prevailing, and I don't think they'll be used up, either. >> Stay informed about: Thank the good Lord above |

I have to agree that Calgary hasn't been able to push them around.
OTOH, I hear some of the media, and blogs such as spector saying the
Wings finally have the balance, and more playoff toughness. I still
don't buy it. I agreed with Clement, I think it was, who noted that
the longer these series go on, the Wings age will become a factor.
There are too many key guys who are older and have injury risk. I
would love for the Sharks to face them next round. >> Stay informed about: Thank the good Lord above |

I only saw the overtime, but Detroit were scarily dominant. >> Stay informed about: Thank the good Lord above |
