Indicative of the problems with the penalty calls in the NHL. Horton
heading downt the boards in the OZ, flips it back to Bouwmeester.
Stuart hits hard Horton about .5 seconds after the pass. Interference?
No. Finishing check? Yes. Goddamn they are legislating the piss out of
this game. And...SCORE.
It happens both ways. Weak....and my second least favorite thing to
hear after the goal "second goal of the season" for Gelinas. >> Stay informed about: Somebody kill me now - Stuart's first period hit on Horton |

Can't say that I agree here. Looked like his drop pass already was
played by
his teammate when Stuart drilled him. Have to go to the video tape, as
Warner
Wolfe would say.
This was a game that should have been won by the B's. 4 wins in a row,
playing at
home against a team that absolutely stinks on the road. And they play
like they
should win by just showing up. Simply not prepared to play, not
prepared to pay
a price to win. Very disappointing.
A bottle of very nice Ruffino Aziano Chianti consumed (in its entirety)
during the game,
so take that into consideration when I make this statement:
Get rid of Paul Mara. Has skills, is not a good hockey player. Has been
in the league
long enough, he won't get better. His claim to Bruins fame is he
allowed us to get of
Boynton. Now get rid of him. Any way, any how, soon. >> Stay informed about: Somebody kill me now - Stuart's first period hit on Horton |

Paris falling to the Germans...not a good thing.
Paris swallowing Solomon's sword...a good thing. >> Stay informed about: Somebody kill me now - Stuart's first period hit on Horton |

Alright, alright...maybe I had a little bias on this call, but it's
amazing what a fraction of a second will do for you. I'm mainly pissed
that many decent hits in the game today are ruled interference. I like
a more wide open game, but ending up 1-0 because of one is pretty
frustrating. >> Stay informed about: Somebody kill me now - Stuart's first period hit on Horton |

I agree - to say Mara has been disappointing would be an understatement. >> Stay informed about: Somebody kill me now - Stuart's first period hit on Horton |
