They have to move Drury to the second line to try and get something
(anything) out of them. Throw Callahan up there to replace Avery.
Maybe put Hossa up on the first line to replace Drury. Then wedge
Gomez into the third line somehow. Top it off with a checking line of
some sort that can defend the good players from Chris Simon's
psychotic tomahawk chops of death. Pray for the best.

You expect us to take your suggestion serious when you don't have
Cullen on the first line ???

OK ... must have been a spell check error ... spell checkers do that
sometimes ...

Hossa-Straka-Jagr
Drury-Gomez-Shanaslow
Prucha-Dubinsky-Callahan
Demon-Betts-Orr

Better yet would be if they replace Shanahan with Callahan.

I wonder if there's a psychological thing that forces Jagr to only
play well with European linemates? I still think they're going to go
back to trying Gomez on the top line though.

Jagr can't get used to skating towards the other teams net. He is
conditioned to wait for the dipsy doodle at the blue line that
Nylander perfected. Along with the circle away from the net and throw
the pass towards the point - hoping for the best.

Tonight's lines - Orr-Betts-Hollweg Jagr-Gomez-Hossa Shanahan-Drury-Moore Dawes-Dubinsky-Prucha I guess it's good to have a defensive presence on Jagr's line. The first line remains unchanged, and if all goes well will pull over 25 minutes tonight.

Anaheim in 6, Ottawa in 6 - And the Ducks take home the Cup.

How was that any different.... - How was that waved-off goal in Buffalo any different than the one in game 1 against the Rangers? Why did that one count, and this one didn't? By the way, VS. is absolutely terrible. Joe Beninati? Why don't they just get Rick Jeanerette or some other....

Scary good - More "scary" than "good".

Teeeeee-mu Selanne! - And Hockey Town is stunned. Woooo-Hooo!!
