Score 5-0 in favor of the OTHER team. We change goalies. Our new goalie
does not give up any more goal. but we DO lose the game.

Does the goalie who gave up the 5 goals get the loss, and the other goalie
gets nothing (no game played, no decision?).

I checked the stats on the goalie(s) after this game, and the one that gave
up the 5 goals did NOT get the loss, as his record was 9-0-1 at the time and
it
was the same after this game..

Thanks.

Charles

My guess is that someone was slow on the uptake in updating stats. AFAIK,
the goalie who had the start and played the majority of the game gets the
loss.

If your goalie let in 5 & got pulled, I'm wondering if we're watching the
same team? LOL!

Steve, shaking his head at the Stingrays.
