What cell phone pix? In yer dreams - the deal was he it was hell
night for the fraternity, and when he got caught he tried to say the
purse belonged to his (fictitious) girlfriend. Reads like you mashed
the Tlusty cellphone scandal in with the Habs Invasion of the Purse

Like I said- that was the initial report going around- c'mon you Loaf fans
no all about a player with compromising pix on the net. As for what you are
saying- get a grip. A stolen purse against a DUI leaving the scene of the
accident- where the guy was hurt. His head. Sheesh, get a grip. Both acts
are despicable- but somehow I see the drunk kid lifting a purse as a much
lesser offense in the grand scheme of things. Quit acting like Bell was
raped and O'Byrne was treated as the better. Different deeds. >> Stay informed about: mark beLL |

Coming from the cut and paste poster boy- I'm surprised you even have an
opinion. One injured another while driving drunk- face it. Obviously this
issue for you is only about the uni. That's pathetic. Drunk driving kills,
drunk purse snatching does not. >> Stay informed about: mark beLL |

Congrats on going oh-fer. You didn't know the diff, you didn't get

Actually, that was all you were doing.

That equal treatment would have had Bettman giving them the same post-
mortem for bad publicity that Bell got.

So did Bell - In fact, it was a year and a team later. You were the
one that threw in the ficititious cell-phone excuse that belonged to
Tlusty, and you were the one that introduced the flame game with the
Loafs thing.
Is it as serious? No. But fact is, the Montreal thing made a big
line at the time, and the Bell thing was dead and buried until the
judge threw some weight into it. And yes, the point of the post was
that Bell got treated worse much much later than either of the Habs
will ever get treated. >> Stay informed about: mark beLL |

Hey I'm not trying to cause a flame war here but really. What exactly is
your point? Should O'Byrne get a suspension for being charged and then

Your point is lost Owl. It isn't a Battman thing. Bell got it much worse
because he got convicted, and he has priors. If O'Byrne was going to do
jail time, then the league would do things differently. You want a better
comparable, look up Ken Daneyko's record, or Kevin Lowe's jail stint. When
the charges get dropped, it ceases to be an employer's issue. >> Stay informed about: mark beLL |

Yeah, you can't punish a guy for something if the charges are
dropped. There is a thing called being innocent. And then what, the
NHL is supposed to go through the police work in each case and decide
for themselves? Charges are dropped, you're free to go. >> Stay informed about: mark beLL |

Your attempt at not starting a flame war failed epically. >> Stay informed about: mark beLL |
