The panel of celebrities will be hilarious. I'm thinking they'll ask
A-list types like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts and end up
with Brian Engblom, Darren Pang and Mike Milbury.
I'm sure everyone will have their Sidney Crosby memorial poppies on.

Players will be asked to perform the craziest trick-shots they can
come up with. Between the leg shots, spin-a-ramas, over the shoulder
lacrosse moves, it's all fair game. A panel of celebrities, still to
be announced, will judge the shooters on their originality.

This is stupid. None of those "trick" shots will go in on All-Star
goaltenders.
Oh, but I'm sure they'll find celebrities for this, though. Snoop
Dogg, Hulk Hogan, and the winner of Survivor: Super Mario World would
make for a star-studded line-up. I would have to wear sunglasses just
to watch it!

I'm glad they're bringing back my favorite event from year's past
(well, 1 year past), the goalie-shot-from-the-other-end-of-the-ice.
Personally when I think of awesome ways that superstar goaltenders can
show off their skill, I think of them scoring goals. I can't read a
summary of a goaltender anywhere that doesn't ceaselessly delve into
his ability to score empty-net goals with no defenders around him.
Finally a skills competition we can all get behind. >> Stay informed about: How did I miss this? |
