Post subject: nickel city
Archived from groups: alt>sports>hockey>nhl>buffalo-sabres (more info?)

is that how many championships u guys lost? listen up u bunch of
norwoods. someday i will tell you what its like to have your team win
a championship. its a pretty cool feeling when your team can win one
or so out of how many??? lets see bills four times, sabres
twice wow lots of choking going on in the nickel city well
at least you still have the goo goo dolls

With the salary cap, the Isles will never win another championship.
They're now the Jets of the NHL.

Before the cap, they used to piss away money like water.

The cap actually helps the Rangers the most, because it discourages them
from paying double for has-beens. Quel irony.

Be that as it may, the cap prevents teams from doubling the payroll of the
Sabres. While coaching is a huge part, having the talent also means
something.
