I'd sooner have Streit than Campbell. Campbell is a more gifted
player but Streit has more smarts and he is more competitive.
With Markov on the left point on the power play we need a shot on the
right point more than another puck handler.
I don't think we need another small defenseman.
And it is very hard to measure the value of a 4th string winger who
can replace an injured D-man in the middle of a game.
Streit is pretty old but he has been on a steep learning curve in his
3 years in the league. I'd like to see if he gets even better.
Choosing between Streit at $4 million per year and Campbell at $6
million per year for me is a no-brainer. It's Streit hands down.
