Can we play 2- 60 minute games in a row?

I know it's bad with our defense out.
But this run and gun is killing the older guys.
Yes, they go for broke in the first 2 periods. Then slop away the 3rd
due to lack of strength. Even tho they actually scored in the 3rd last
game :-]

He's using shorter shifts, so ice time should be about the same.
My concern is that we're down another NHL level defenseman for the
next 5 games - Pock was suspended for his elbow in the Ottawa game.

Younger guys seem to be responding, I think it's taking longer for
the 'elder' statesmen folks to buy into the strategy...
