He just can't seem to stop anything in a SO. They said it's cause all
the teams have a book on how to beat him, well I guess the Flames
scouting hasn't had their lightbulb go off yet on how to scout the
other teams goalie for SO's. There's definitely something wrong with
the Flames in SO.

BTW, I didn't see who missed for the Flames, but it did seem that they
finally figured out that Iggy isn't a SO scorer. And if he did shoot
last night he helped to re-affirm my point.

Since they're going to lose when/if they go to a SO you'd think they'd
tear up the ice in OT, since even if they lose they still get a point,
but might actually score a goal and avoid any SO's.

Agreed. Pull him and let McLennan go in cold turkey for the shoot out.
It's not like he could do any worse than Kipper! They might even be
surprised.

Your strategy in the OT makes sense. Go for broke since you're gonna loose
in the SO anyway. ;)

Time to sign Martin Gelinas? - He's got a year or two left, and the Flames sure could use him.

New NHL format and schedule ? - I know plans to revamp the schedule were scuppered last year, but I think it is long overdue. Here's my 2 cents: Add two expansion teams to bring the league up to 32 (means 50 % of teams make playoffs). Align into 4 divisions (North, West, South,..

Well the pre-season is over... - What a disaster it turned out to be. I would have expected a couple more wins with the line-ups that played each game. We can only hope that the regular season starts off a bit better... ;)
