Fleury, Daze, Zhamnov, Thibault and their $14,000,000 in salary are all
missing in action. Klemm, another $2,500,000 salary, the player with the
teams best +/- this season is traded. The Blackhawks have not yet scored
more than 3 goals in any game this season.

I miss seeing guys like Roenick, Amonte, Chelios and Belfour on the UC ice.
This team will never get better as long as the penny pinching Wirtz and
Pulford are running this organization. A 20-month NHL lockout might be a
good thing for the 'Hawks at this point.

Why pay 14 mil for those guys when not one of them can match the star
power or production of Roenick, Amonte, Chelios, etc.? Gutting the current
team is not the problem. The problem is they won't pay for top talent in
the first place. Shell out for stars, not mediocrity.
