you think they figure it out by now "the system" doesn't work.

Fire Snow.
Fire Gordon.
DiPietro next in line for GM after he retires next year.

Sure looked like it was working as we entered December. Going
0 for the month will not look pretty. I am not convinced that
they will win this month - even with DP coming back off of the
IR.

Things went south when Nielsen was clocked in open ice and
went on the IR for 4-6 weeks. It's been downhill since then.
Okposo missed three weeks, Hunter is now out, Sillinger is
*back* on IR, Thompson is on IR, Gervais, Martinek, and Sutton
(3 of top 6) are on IR too. Not counting that Comrie is 2 games
off of the IR. Now Weight might be out for several games too!

Injuries have hurt the team - and this team in particular is
so thin on experienced players, missing some/any makes it look
more like an AHL team playing against the big boys. Joey
MacDonald was a "Who is this guy" when they let Doobie go - and
he's definitely kept them in many a game so far this season.

I see hope for the future, but it'll be a LONG season - maybe
along the lines of what Philly suffered two years ago...

jerry

PS - all Gordon/Snow want for Christmas is a goal scorer under
the tree.

I remember Big Mac playing backup with the Wings and he was impressive
back then, even Danis with Montreal and in the AHL with Hamilton. I
really hope Danis gets to play at least one game before DP comes back.
