I know this isn't an original thought, but as Turco goes so go the Stars.
If he can figure things out this postseason, there's no reason that they
can't be hoisting the Cup in a couple of months. If he doesn't, maybe it's
time to bring in a different goalie. This team is finally (relatively)
healthy, Modano and Zubov are playing well, Morrow is back.

Turco is like Dan Cloutier -- good regular season, enough playoff
problems its in his head -- the more he denies he is thinking about
it, the more it'll break him down. Just ask the pre-lockout Canucks
about that. And the playoffs are all about goaltending.
Good luck anyway, Stars, but I'd be surprised if Luongo lets in enough
for you to win the series. But drop the puck, already! >> Stay informed about: So do they have what it takes? |

The one thing working in the Stars favor is that this is Luongo's first time
to the postseason. Now considering Turco's miserable showings in past
playoffs I don't know how much of an advantage it is going to be, but I'll
take any edges I can get at this point. I don't expect either team to blow
the other out and I think it will go 6 or 7 games, probably all one goal
games, too. >> Stay informed about: So do they have what it takes? |

If Morrow is healthy and can handle a rougher playoff style then that
is almost as important to the Stars as Turco is.
I agree Luongo hasn't faced the playoffs yet, but the history is,
goalies that do not do well int he playoffs rarely turn it around --
its a mental issue, and a hard one to fix. >> Stay informed about: So do they have what it takes? |
