Unfortunately the flames related traffic here is so low these days that
I rarely check the group any more.
It looks as though the Flames have got back on track at least a little
bit. Most of the players have a positive plus minus, which means the
team is OK at even strength. As in past years, though the special teams
seem to be a problem - too many PPG allowed and not enough scored.
I am not convinced the defence is as good this year as last. Losing
Hamrlik and Stuart for Sarich and Eriksson seems a down-trade to me.
Owen Nolan may not have been worth picking up.
