There's always a bright side:

They get to fly to Denver tonight, play an even better team tomorrow
evening, and use either a sieve of a backup or a terribly slumping
starter on no rest.

I'm pumped!

I am. It's going to be the most painful thing I've ever sat through.

(I once sat through a 6-3 loss to the Avalanche back in '96 I think.)

I'm bringing a big magnet tomorrow, and I'm going to try and get close
to Renney's head. I think I can erase the hard drive that's where a
brain would be in a human.

First Avs game I went to was against the Stars. Was one of their
first games, in fact -- before they even traded for Roy. The Stars
scored two shorthanded goals on the same powerplay.

The Avalance responded by taking a penalty shortly after, and scoring
two shorthanded goals themselves. It was odd.

I'd laugh except it's impossibe for Jagr to go more than 2 miles per
hour.

Funny coincidence! Many fans of Rangers opponents will refer to the
Rangers as the "rags" in an attempt to belittle and mock the team.

How many goals do you think a single player on Colorado will score?

They just need more time to gel.

Islanders fan. You get no sympathy from me.

I saw the Bruins beat the Avs in...'98 I think. The last year they were
in McNuggets Arena, when they ended up playing the Stars in the
playoffs. Which I went to down in Dallas, and the Avs lost again. And
then I saw them open against the Isles the next season and lose again.

I can just see Jagr wearing extra bling, and flying down the ice at 75
MPH because of the magnet.

Let's see. You never show up at the Coliseum, and you do most of your
posting in the Rangers forum. I'd say you're halfway there!

I was at an Isles vs. Sabres game back in 2000, second row near the blue
line. Both teams were awarded penalty shots in our end. Jokinen scored,
Satan missed. Chara lost a tooth right in front of us - we saw it flying
out of his mouth. The trainer ran on the ice and picked it up with a rag.

For instance, in the UK it's actually RagŁ.

You know...you really shouldn't be replying to me. If you were a real
Ranger fan, you'd know I was one of those trolls from the Devil NG sent
here to make you miserable.

I don't see how Devils fans could make us any more miserable than the
Rangers do themselves.
